The Jewellery factory “Alfa” was founded in Saint-Petersburg on the 16th of December 1992. Nowadays it is one of the largest jewellery enterprises in Russia, which is equipped with a modern high-tech plant stock, where now more than 200 professional specialists of jewellery art are working.

 Following the traditions of the Russian Jewellery Art School, the factory develops the main streams and genres of the jewellery art. Among them, there is a variety of items made of gold and silver, precious and semi precious stones, VIP-presents, etc. 

There is also the so called factory’s “business card” – the unique pendants, earrings and bracelets with pendants in the form of tiny eggs in the Fabergé style. They are made of gold, silver, jewellery alloy and decorated with Swarovski crystals, diamonds, multicolored enamel and gilding. 

The craftsmen of the “Jewellery factory Alfa” have as well great experience in the manufacturing of Orders, medals, breastplates, memorable Orders and Orders with symbols and logos of different companies. The production of the factory conforms to the highest jewellery standards and some the most famous Russian Organizations committed the manufacturing of  different state awards and VIP-presents to our specialists more than once. 

Our company has proved itself to be a solid company, which is the guarantee of the highest quality and perfect taste. Our participation in the biggest Russian and foreign exhibitions promotes the prestige of the factory. Here we have to mention  exhibitions to which we participated in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Rostov, Tokyo (Japan), Istanbul (Turkey); “Rotaforte”), Vicenza (Italy “Orogemma”), Los Angeles, New-York (USA), Munich (Germany), etc.

 In 2004 “The Guild of Russian Jewellers” declared “Alfa” the best jewellery enterprise of the Russian Federation. In 2005 in Frankfurt the factory was awarded the “Arch of Europe” for  major achievements in the manufacturing of jewelry. In 2007  “Alfa” became the laureate of the competition “Made in Saint-Petersburg - 2007”.

 The 5th of October 2007 will remain in the history of “Alfa” as the day of the license agreement signature. It was the day, when the representatives of the “Jewellery factory “Alfa” on one side and the representatives of  Tatiana F. Fabergé on the other side signed an agreement which gave to the factory an exclusive right to use the trade mark “The Imperial collection by Tatiana Fabergé”. Moreover, the “Jewellery factory “Alfa” signed an agreement with the State Hermitage. According to the document the enterprise has a right to manufacture copies of the Hermitage collection after the coordination and approval of the museum arts council. 

The “Jewellery factory “Alfa” is a full member of the Saint-Petersburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, “The Guild of Russian Jewellers”, The Saint-Petersburg Assembly of Jewelers, National-art crafts Association and other public organizations. For the great contribution to the development of Russian jewellery art and in connection with the 15th anniversary of the factory foundation the Director General Shaidullin N.Z. and the three best jewelers of the factory were awarded with the state medal of the Order “For the services for the Native Country” (II degree) and with the anniversary medal “In memory of 300 years anniversary of the Foundation of Saint-Petersburg”. Fifteen members of the factory were recognized by the Saint-Petersburg Assembly of Jewelers and awarded with the order “Jewelry-maker”.

On the 16th of December 2007 and in connection with the 15th anniversary of the factory foundation many members of the factory received an official message of thanks and  Certificates of honour from the Ministry of culture and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, Envoy plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in the North-West Federal district, the Governor of Saint-Petersburg, the Chief of Administration of Krasnogvardeisky area of Saint-Petersburg and from the leaders of the municipal formation “Malaya Okhta”. 

There were lots of telegrams and greetings with the anniversary congratulations for the members of the “Jewellery factory “Alfa” from the different cities and regions of the Russian Federation. Here also must be mentioned the letters from the Staff of the President of Russian Federation, Council of Federation, Assembly of Russian Jewelers, The Gild of Jewelers in Saint-Petersburg, from the foreign partners, jewellery companies, which are the partners of the factory for many years, different public organizations and simply friends.
